I believe that is a bank requirement for some banks to make sure you aren’t using more debt for the down payment that may put you over the dti ratio that they used to qualify you for the loan.

@Suki Su I don't know about the other information, but I believe some hard money lenders will have you put down 25% of the full amount needed, and others will off the loan with a smaller down payment, but higher rates/ fees.

Many economists also believe that the S&P500 aggregate earnings have the rate hikes "built in" already.   

I believe the same is true with land contract.

Generally, electric baseboard is much more expensive than oil heat(see link below which allows input of various prices for electricity and oil.)
