Sometimes you can find ones that are going over the topic of wholesaling. generally its 20 bucks, and you will find all walks of life. even if they are not going over that exact topic, I can just about guarantee you there are other wholesalers there, so networking is always a beautiful piece of those events.

Most investment properties are going to be distressed in one way or another, so you may have to be wary that Conventional Loans, FHA, etc may not work for you because the houses wouldn't qualify (need to be able to pass a 4 point inspection) so that is what the beautiful Hard Money Loans and Lenders are for!
