Yes, I understand the deductions are not 1-1 but that would still be huge considering how much I pay towards the rent.

I've saved enough for either my first house, or my first real estate investment -- and am coming to understand that it may need to be one in the same.

We are looking for recommedations for agent/broker/realtor in the Fairfield County Connecticut area.Wanting to build a relationship with someone who understands REI.  

Direct mail to absentee owners may be a great idea, you just need to understand it is not magic, and will take a min of 6 touches to your list to possibly close a deal.

Do understand windows have the longest financial payback.

I plan on continuing my research to make sure I have a solid understanding of the direction I plan to take next.

@Wendell Edwards Jr make sure you are understanding or at least have someone who is helping you with your first few properties.
