I don't care too much about the town ranking, although it is pretty good I guess.People come to out Lake house to be away from town and create memories with their family. 

Maybe it's inherited properties and no one cares about them amongst other reasons.This does not result in frequent insurance claims and most insurance policy cover these type of events that's why need to have a comprehensive/complete insurance coverage to cover all the natural disasters that may occur and factor it in you deal analysis.As @Jillia Virtue mentioned, The effects of natural disasters are felt more in the Houston Downtown areas and toward Lake Charle, Louisiana.

Though it has high crime rates it seems that in the Missions Lakes country club bubble you are fairly secure and away from everything while still close to the nicer towns 15min or so.

This is a lake house on an all sports lake with strong rentals in the same township and lake.

I don't know how active our REIA group is here in Salt Lake City but that's mostly because I haven't checked it out.

Using a 1031 from a former property, we bought a 5br/5ba lake house in Virginia for $439,000.

Lake Nona is real nice and would be in the drive time.
