Playing the long game has never hurt me is real estate, but being short-sighted has bitten me in the *** a few times. 

This led to the next contractor leaving even more, and a game of he said/she said followed.

Also you mentioned your leases end in the summer, I'm still pretty new to the game and was wondering if you think its better to have them end at the beginning or end of summer?

I am a realtor and have no interest in being a property manager, but just wanted to put a plug out there that I have investors working with both @Kenny Hall and @Jake Knight and have had great experiences with both of them.

I would also want to vet their team (lawyers, CPA, lenders, PM, etc.) a strong supporting cast can compensate for a lack of direct experience.Do they have skin in the game?

The best investors over the long haul of a career in the investment game have premier relationship-building skills and are not just focused on the deal in front of them.
