I can't even imagine how they are going to staff the deluge of calls and inspections and auditors to delve into the landlords rental contracts, etc.  

The next day was Memorial Day so the best the maintenance staff could do was bring in a little shop vac to try and get out some of the water and there was a discussion of trying to shore up the outside to keep this from happening again.

If anyone had the time to notice (you'd be assuming some government agency wasn't short-staffed and had someone on staff who noticed or cared - LOLOL), and actually notified you of a problem - then you deal with it.  

These tenants don't give a s*** about the owners own bills, or the family he has to feed, or staff he has to pay, or taxes he'll have due.Nope.  

Those folks may just say screw it not renting those things anymore if thats the way they are going to be in a world wide crisis. remember they dont give a rip about you or your finances.. and frankly there is risk in business .. when its good you make a lot of money when its bad maybe you lose some money..  

Ed Hardy bros like Grant Cardone are bleeding heavily and let go of their entire staff without notice cuz they assume infinite appreciation and a BAM that will carry them through the finish line.

Especially with rising water levels world wide it will only be worse, not ever better.

It wouldn't be a problem with 10 or 20 rentals but with 360 it was taking too much time from my staff.

Wrong.Turned out, they had live rock bands - and I mean loud enough to shake the water in a glass on my kitchen table kind of loud, and they played until late - then the staff and friends closed the place up, cranked up their recorded music and would party until the wee hours. 

they get furloughed for a month.. what do you do.boot them and have a turn over or work with them through this world wide issue ?
