I know Turnkey doesn’t get as much love as other investment property routes on these forums, but was curious what others thought considering the current market and from the POV of a total newbie looking for a buy/hold...

Does anyone know of any global real estate investor platforms similar to MLS or propstream?

On a longer-term view, make sure to get this first property repaired, upgraded, and fully ready so that you can minimize or eliminate your CapEx expectations for the next five years while you then focus on another property.

I would check out Hotpads and sort by rooms for rent, this will give you a accurate view of what students are paying for rooms as opposed to Rentometer which pulls completely different data.

From a landlords (and home owners) view point I've never found gas to be expensive (I have gas heat and a gas hot water heater). 

We have differing political views, strengths, personalities and he keeps me engaged in buying more deals more quickly.
