I own a studio unit in one of the high-rises in downtown SD, which I'm currently renting out.

The most significant issue noted is a requirement that "...heating facilities capable of maintaining a room temperature of 70 degrees..." be provided.  

Demand will rise and it will rise not      just in gateway markets, but will likely trickle out to some of the more under-served secondary and tertiary markets across the country.

However, my rent is too low and I need to bring them a bit closer to market value to adjust for rising expenses.Thank you all for listening, any help would be appreciated. 

Unless the density requirements are changed by local authorities, we will not see high-rise structures along the west coast in the same density as the east coast.The Alameda Corridor is already playing a major role in this gigantic trade influx.

I actually think prices in Las Vegas will continue to rise.

My score has continued to rise, and we now own 5 properties, all with loans. 

RI is not so cold as you with temperatures rarely below zero F , normal low temperatures might reach the teens. 

Ok, so any suggestions on how best to solve these issues:This property is a triplex (maybe quad with an efficiency), converted from a SFR, so it's got one hot water heater for the whole building, and one temperature control (hot water / steam radiant heating) for the whole building located in the second unit.I'm thinking the cheapest way to provide enough hot water to the whole building is to replace the hot water heater with a 200 first hour rating hot water heater so I don't have to mess with the plumbing too much.For the heat, I don't know if it's easy enough to separate the heat out to each unit, if not, my thought was to just leave the temp at say 62, and not give them access to the temp control, and let them get space heaters to make up the difference.

Price shave already started to rise and will continue.
