I have a pretty stable well paying job in tech and I was able to save $150,000. 

Emanuel,How about making it a shared office/tech space.

It seems that the tech hub is growing, my firm has a strong presence there and can potentially open doors and I like the culture base on feedback of friends who moved  in Texas. 

But, while Joplin was a school rival for sports (and we won most of the games, BTW) I like Joplin and things are really changing after the tornado.

The answer is obvious.Unless it's some young couple both working in the tech industry and making a combined household income of $300k+ per year, buying a nice home out in the Bay Area is simply out of reach for most people.

This happened to me where we were in the high season, and HVAC techs will prioritize their direct customers and be unavailable to assist with the warranty company service requests. 

not the most tech savvy, but I do know how to do the iTunes and ipod podcasts but haven't learned how to do it with an android device.

Not really sure as I am just playing out with this idea and the tech is out of my wheel house. 

My cable and internet bill benefits another half dozen cable techs that are in town every day.
