Hello all, new to the forums and just wanted to use the experts here as a sounding board for the deal I'm working. 

It sounds like true asset protection cost about $20,000 as an initial a set up which seems like a lot to me.

It really sounds like you broke the lease by renting the property before the official lease term was up even though she wasn't living there. 

It sounds like it's been a very active couple years for you...I'd love to hear about your experiences. 

From what you have said it sounds like you were able to track them down and get the receipt retroactive which is good but you should never have had to do so.

I'd look into some 0% APR for the first 18 months Credit Cards but it sounds like the amount of money you're looking for is too small for most hard money lenders to want to get involved with.
