It depends on your plan, and the criteria for deals dictated by it...and then, the specific market you are investing in whose profile matches the criteria from your plan. 

First and most importantly find out if you are ready for homeownership, if your profile fits the criteria then following the next steps in the direction you're looking to go in.

Hey bigger pockets new member I've have my profile for awhile but first time posting.Just moved to salt lake for Southern California and I'm looking to get in and learn about wholesaling and flipping/investing I'm new to all of but I've always had an interest in real estate every job I've had a always find myself coming back to think about it and I feel it's finally the time to take the steps into getting the ball rolling and make something happen and gain financial freedom and time with my family so any advice anybody has to give I am more then willing to except it.

Your profile doesn't say where you are located, so it would be impossible for anyone to make a useful suggestion at this point.That's really unfortunate, since there are plenty of people here eager to help you out!

I would be curious to see what percentage of BP profiles actually end up investing. 

It's hard to say since many lenders are regional and your profile doesn't say where you're located.   

I don't have any specific recommendations other than to search profiles for people who have the skills you need, then request work samples and conduct interviews.
