(Being that most apartment building in downtown lisbon are small and only need refurbishment on the inside no structural repairs needed).Which offer incredible yields both on a rental basis or from a fix & flip perspective.In my specific case I don’t have the required funds available to enter on my own and therefore am looking for seasoned investors who would be willing to enter on a partnership or joint venture to invest (all legal, with written contracts obviously).I have seen people with no money but the right skills and connections for the job be successful at it.

I have no problem with making money on these repairs.

I am basically the traditional Asian family that spent my entire life saving money and purchasing a place in New York City, and after trying to survive for a while I find it too hard now that it’s 2 people and decided to move back to my hometown and do some investing looking for cash flow in particular.

section 8 is like around the clock property management. there’s money in it but it’s extra work depending on who you put in the units. 

Aim for a $75,000 ARV to play it "safe".As far as private money you would probably have to find someone local that knows the area and wouldn't have a problem taking ownership of a property like this if things go sideways.My guess is you'll have a tough time finding an individual that wants to loan on it.
