If this is the case, how wise would it be to apply for a Hard loan to get the cash and then apply for a conventional loan/FHA loan after?

The new CEO recently mentioned that FTX customer funds were used to buy homes for employees and advisors, also had seen a report that FTX personally loaned Sam $3B.

You can look into a portfolio loan but getting one for 2nd position will be tougher.

If they do not allow then the loan can be "Due on Sale" and violate your agreement.

Luckily for us the issue was not huge, but we missed the inspection window before we found that out. 203(K)’s have higher rates than standard loans, so consider the timing of your refinance (especially in todays environment).

Ignore the loan when trying to factor in the possible tax implications as paying off a principal balance doesn't do anything tax-wise.

When I'm done with the rehab, I rent out the property and refinance into a conventional loan.

We had cash for down payment and went through a broker for our loan who was recommended to us by our agent.
