If you have a history of successful work and are honest and a stand up person it’s much easier to raise $.

But thank you again, I’ve learned through other friends even outside of real estate, that are in charge of hiring, how they can do a quick background scan to see the person’s history and see if anything crazy comes about.

That will force the surveyor to take you to court and try to settle the claim.I would contact the surveyor and let him know you never spoke with him or authorized the work.

We won't even run the background check until someone has the full app, including proof of income and residential history with contact information.

What documents do they require, what credit scores do they allow, how do they verify previous rental history, etc.?

She sends me deals, buyers, and gives me the sellers/home's history before I even make an offer.

She wanted her money back and if I didn't comply she was going to involve her attorney and the 'authorities' (is she talking about the MH police?!).

The BRRRR Method has years and years of history and success buying off market properties at a deep discount in a state of disrepair.  

Basically we tell the resident that, regardless of payment history, we will give them x amount of money (in one case, $500) if the unit is in good condition and they move out by a certain date.
