I understood back then that for me to build and scale the business, I needed to always make decisions based on numbers and not emotions, and that's one big reason I've kept myself in the industry now for 4 years.I see a lot of people getting too emotional after their first proof of concept, and most of them are not in the business anymore.

Same staets, like mine, have an Energy Code where you are required to get a certain amount points of point for new builds.

Most investors walk a building, identify windows and other benchmarks and rely on these elements in coming to their own conclusion on unit layouts and unit count.

My wife and I started saving and building our credit a year and a half ago after talking to a lender to figure out our trajectory to buying our first property.With our credit score in the high 700s and our savings just over 35K we reached back out to our lender and got a rough estimate of where we stood as far as borrowing power.

He did get some money from Insurance, but not enough to properly facilitate a quality rebuild.

While I am fine renting while I search for the right investment, my dream would be to build (for my own personal home).
