With the huge surge of interest in real estate investing by new and experienced investors, the return of home buyers to market and the resulting rise in prices I was curious to see what the community thought were today’s underutilized strategies and areas (cities, towns, states even blocks) that could be interesting in the next 6 months and are not yet popular enough to be something most people know about and are thus using thereby driving up prices as well as reducing supply. 

I am new to real estate investing and I was in line to buy a 240,000 one bed one bath in the heart of Pacific Beach 10 blocks from the ocean.  

Show off that beautiful tile work you spent so much money on - plus with that block window, the light will fill the bathroom so much better, where a shower curtain would block that light more.

Granted I know you are not hitting specific target homes but what if your piece went to every home on multiple blocks in target area and it hits some target homes but also hits homes that open channels to target homes.

I have done some development work here in Virginia and yeah... if you are in the wrong County, you should just go ahead and pre-order a straight-jacket in a color of your liking.  

Great Idea, this will really help all the new guys on the block (like myself) to connect with other local investors and professions.  

Distance yourself emotionally from the houses - they are just wood, steel, OSB, concrete blocks, wiring, plumbing, and asphalt shingles.From my point of view, I prefer to buy a vacant house.
