Used to be (and in some blocks still is) a run-down, drug infested mess.But there are signs of life, too--REAL art wall murals have replaced the typical gang graffiti; specialty coffee shops open next to bodegas, art galleries opening, and blocks and blocks of beautiful brownstone buildings. 

I'm transitioning my focus to the Fox Valley area and always open to meeting new investors like myself.

I understand the worst they can say is no but want to keep the dialog open.

If using a Buyer's Agent, but they're not available to open the door of the property, ask them to do a rebate of 500.00 out of what the property is paying any Buyer Agent, and increase the Listing Agent's commission by $500 to get them to open the door to their own listing.

Thanks for posting @Larry L.The truth here is that a lot of commercial deals of that magnitude that you are speaking of do not hit the open market.

Probably someplace that has had a net migration of people for awhile and a few new employer openings that could get postponed/cancel leaving an over supply would be my first guess.

Our plan is to start investing in RE once we relocate and feel we have a reasonable understanding of the city and market, we are open to both rentals/BRRRR and flipping.We would love to meet with experienced local investors and RE agents and learn as much as possible about the Spokane RE market and city dynamics.

The owner is open to some form of owner financing I believe.
