I have purchased a lot once before, but this was under the expert tutelage of a builder friend of mine in a different market (Colorado).

Would this be suitable to get started?

This includes hiring an inspector to check for structural problems, arranging for a pest inspection, and getting a professional appraisal to ensure the property's value matches the bank's asking price.

IMO there are just better markets that require a much lower investment for a higher CoC return.Hope this helps!
