It is simply designed to help specific people who live here now get some relief and allow them to stay in their homes, which it actually does pretty well.

@Dale Miller It seems meager, but you are likely out of luck if there is chipped or peeling paint...especially if you are working with a sh&t lender like Huntington...in general, I would say you move forward with what you specified in your offer or default...If I was the seller and you switched I would likely cancel the contract...FHA is a huge pain in the ***.

At that time, I did not use software to help me do my job so rent collection week was always a pain.

I think they are just trying to be a pain since they’ve had issues with previous landlords.

I do plan on puchasing a SFH in Raleigh to live in but I'm painfully aware that it will likely be a lifestyle choice, not an investment. cc: @Caleb Heimsoth
