Aside from the general enduring explosive situation in the Middle East, Qatar has been the victim of an economic embargo imposed by its own former allies from the Gulf.I'm left wondering whether it's worth investing in a place with all these risks, where I don't get equal legal with the locals under the law and all this to make a return of maximum 8 to 15%.The tax advantages sound great but they are of little benefit to US citizens and residents and to residents of most countries, given that they have to pay taxes on their worldwide income regardless of the tax laws in Qatar.

Regarding collections: ours have been much better than I anticipated considering all of the current legal and economic issues you mentioned. 100% collections does seem a bit unlikely, but I wouldn't call it impossible.
