I generally stay away from condos simply because my investment strategies don't include paying HOA fees on rentals - unless of course, it is a hugely discounted purchase price.

i am reading the court documents regarding an HOA foreclosure property that i am interested in and i noticed that there is a line that says" Any person claiming an interest in the surplus from the sale, if any, other than the property owner  as of the date of the Lis Pendens must file a claim within sixty (60) days after the sale" can the tenant, property manager, family of the owner, MY FRIENDS, claim this money?

have you ever read the summary final judgement of foreclosure document with regard to a HOA foreclosure. there is a paragraph that has me stumped. the notice is sale basically says in one section that all defendants and herein or hereafter are forever declared barred or foreclosed.

I calculated that the principle and interest will be $750, the HOA is $325, and I assuming that the property management fee would be around $120/month and taxes and insurance around $150/month (please check me on the latter two costs).
