In Silicon Valley you will be looking at 660-1100K for similar condos with a rent bet 2200-2800 a month 15-20% appreciation annually for the last 6 years.

I’m going to start analyzing properties in different areas of the East Valley.  

Also, the Hudson Valley area in places like Beacon and Poughkeepsie where it's more affordable and there is still a means of transportation back to the city.
