I would really love to network, start some conversations and build relationships with those who are willing to teach a newbie.

Having read the Beginner's eBook and some "Where Do I Start"-style posts, I still have a question that I feel hasn't been addressed directly.

I'd find a lender that knows how to work investment deals, especially house hack style deals.

This house has been teaching us lesson after lesson and thats why my wife an I call it the "Problem Child".

On their webpage they should list their experience, their design style, and what type of services they offer, etc.  

Seems like all the meetings happen while I'm at my desk job (or teaching) so I haven't been able to attend.

Wow, I could think of 100 better things to do with my time and money versus sitting in a class that teaches you how to past a test.You're better off reading all the free things here on BP, networking with people, and educating yourself on the market than to spend 75-100 hours in a classroom or online watching someone teach in my opinion.
