Assuming 8% return on your 350k equity, you and your wife have a shortfall of about 70k total to maintain the same level of income.  35k each doesn't seem terribly difficult to achieve for freelancing work.

My response was that applying the spray foam directly to the underside of the roof deck is not sufficient unto itself and that you need to create a drainage plane of the top side ... most normally achieved by strapping and over roofing.
