These initial costs are also non-refundable if the campaign is unsuccessful which makes it even more difficult, but the commission will now be from $5M instead of the current $1M limit so hopefully the platforms will reduce it based on the amount raised.This is very exciting news and IMO a game changer for the crowdfunding industry and non-accredited investors.
