You know what they say.....Some people don't know what they don't know.sometimes I think civilians don't realize that real estate brokers are independent contractors and do not work at their pleasure. its the other way around.. 

I get a copy of their driver's license vis text and I just give them the code to the lockbox, they can look at it themselves...

However, her broker is telling her she needs to terminate the listing because she needs a separate license since it doesn't come with the lot.

If it came to light and a complaint was filed, I'd almost certainly be subject to penalties from the state, including fines, suspension or license revocation.Not to mention that the full commission is pre-negotiated before listing the property - it's part of the listing contract. 

So I got my real estate license in order to potentially surround my self with like minded people and learn about the business.
