Investing out of state is easier for me (I've always lived in expensive areas where you can't afford to invest in unless you have a lot of family money).

San Diego is currently a pretty expensive market and I'm wondering if I should begin out of state or if anyone has in advice about the San Diego market or investing in expensive areas, I would greatly appreciate it!

I have also been looking down in Trenton NJ, were the prices on most properties are really inexpensive, but those neighborhoods are not so desirable neighborhoods.
