Very strong rental demand, had no issue finding a tenant at the 1k rent price point. 2nd floor is a month away from being finished.

I sometimes had 3 roommates for this SFR and had no issues.

But I do know that where I live (20 minutes south of Dan in central San Diego) that ADUs are less of a white elephant and a few investor friends have had no trouble getting them to appraise.

I have had no problem finding good tenants in very short order. 

Factor in that they literally had no idea when they could potentially move in to the property because of a similar "tenant" situation and it just wasn't worth the risk.As an aside I expect to see more of this sort of situation coming up by this time next year here in the East Bay.

I've reached out to several property managers, including some that have been mentioned here and have had no luck (mostly do to them not returning calls or not taking on new clients, not so much the area necessarily) Any help is appreciated.
