I have been looking at different places to invest.I am looking for advice on the best tool to use to help with appreciation, job growth, etc that would help me.I have looked at a few tools, like zillow, trulia (to look at sold properties) but I was looking for more historical data on appreciation.Any advice would be appreciated!

Here's a tool to get an estimate on property tax in Lexington County...http://www.lex-co.com/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=w...I think it's last year's millage rates but it should be close enough for estimating expenses.Hope this helps!

(This is consistent with your original message).4 - I brought up the issue of the LLC liability issue - where a personal tax position (using schedule E) being used as a primary tool for piercing the corporate veil was used and the room primarily pooh-poohed such a concept and said there was clearly more to the story than what I was getting.  

You see I come from a hands on trade (tool and die maker) and now have a desk job (Engineer) and enjoy both.

A few tools, a calm head, a beer . . . . it's all good.

Trulia, zillow and homefinder would be helpful tool.
