I've read several articles, some with conflicting information, but the consensus seems to be:- Businesses will be able to solicit equity investors on the internet- Investment will not be limited to "accredited" investors - -Businesses can raise up to $1 million a year without registering securities with the SEC-The Senate added restrictions requiring crowdfunding websites to register with the SEC, and requiring businesses to make certain disclosures-The SEC has 270 days to implement the new law (although at least one source suggests internet solicitation will be allowed in 90 days)

I too am not a fan of remarketing wholesale deals because that property could show up all over the internet at different price points and the investor could see this and get turned off by the deal.
