I'm building a new set of row houses to be used as rental units. 

For what you did yourself you have the amount of time and supply costs and set an hourly rate for yourself based on the skill set you are using.  

Also i set my initial rent price too high and it sat vacant for around a month and a half.

This is why I hate this set of tax rules.

The attorney and accountant are important as they can help you set up your LLC correctly and the banker will be critical when you begin to make offers on properties.

What is reasonable amount to charge for a 3 family home....fire alarm system set-up and monitoring?  

Foreclosed property has very low price and I learned a lot about them and now cooperating with the seller for selling them, financing the flipping, finding investors and joint venture in setting up a food court spot.
