As for Cleveland meetups, we haven't attended any since we are from Newport Beach, however when we did visit Cleveland in February we did host one at the Fairmount. 

Darren Sagger host a meet up that's pretty big but sometimes it's in NJ and others in NYC.

Best way is to search the neighborhood you are in (on AirBnB, VRBO, etc) and see if there are any other STR hosts.

I would start by finding a replacement property and reach out to the host, let them know the situation and that you're looking for a place for your guests.
