I understand their position on wanting to make sure that I have some skin in the game, but this has severely slowed down my rate of purchase.With the exception of a few ups and downs and a little learning curve, everything that I have purchased so far is cash flowing well.

Just someone who is happy to lend 100% of purchase without the borrower having skin in the game makes me think of a red colored flag.
