Plastic coated cable works well.If the rope isn't on the window you'll need to pull off one side of the sash and pull the window out (lower part of a double hung) and screw in to attach the rope.Put the weights on so that in the full down position the weights are just below the opening at the roller wheel

Stepping back and looking at if, you make a good point, I think I am more concerned about helping her out, and not tosay I can't do that later on, but if I screw things up, right here at the start, I won't be able to help her out at all later on if needed.

I am the worlds worst .. i believe all the sobs stories.. all of them.. one thing is I am very impatient and when they get me on the phone i just agree to get them off the phone.. the more you try to help the basic renter class in the US the more they screw you is what i found out..

However - if you can figure out what those minimum fees are (google it), you can judge exactly how much these other mortgage brokers are screwing you on (A) origination fees (B) rates - in the form of premium buy ups, and other costs.With this COVID situation, Fannie and Freddie are also upping their reserve requirements for P&I, taxes, insruace, and replacements at close - so just be aware of that.Most bankers are greedy.

I now provide pre-cut thick plastic washable shelf liners and actually have a clause in my lease about damage to cabinets -- no nails, push pins, other sharp objects (I've had tenants hang pictures with pushpins on side kitchen cabinets, screwed in hooks to hang things) and that stains and damage to cabinetry will not be considered normal wear and tear.

Whether or not they are the cheapest option, I know that I won't be getting screwed over by a contractor and shoddy work.I'd like to use around 75-85k as down payments on houses (at 20% down that would get me around $400k in houses).
