The light rail is expected to go through / close to the area in 2030. 

If its a safety hazard or could be a detriment to health/safety, then it will be a problem with FHA guidelines.Chipping paint, hand rails missing or broken, windows not sealed properly or broken, insulation fallout, mold, termite infestation, cracked foundation, moisture or leaking roof, heating and electric not working and not up to code, etc... 

Washing machine drain: Water should readily drain into washing machine drain without any back-ups.Utility room: should be free of debris, motor vehicle parts, and flammable materials.Kitchen --Stove: should be clean and free of food and grease.Refrigerator: should be clean.

FHA required repairs always come first like hand rails, mold, lead based paint. 

I purchased a home with a VA loan and in order to get through the inspections paint had to be put on exposed wood and a railing put on a staircase.

The best advise is do something that works FOR YOU.There are many vehicles in REI. i’m currently house hacking here and flipping.

Most folks on here would probably advise you to sell and put your money in a better investment vehicle where you’re not “gambling” on appreciation and rent increases while losing money in the meantime.

It's not much of an issue during the day since our tenants work but the extra vehicles and weekends are problems. 

I have a Tesla and I think it would be good to leave the home charger connected for any future electric vehicle tenants as well. 

I own all my vehicles, no credit debt and minimize bills by paying in advance etc.
