We’d like to sign a note and attach a lien so the investor is protected.

Everyone is suffering and I'm not likely to find another tenant in trying times. 

Before I buy another property I was thinking that it might be a smart move to put the house into a LLC to create a large amount of asset protection, I already have a umbrella policy on the house as well.

I already have ideas to protect our health and others.

Everyone will suffer a little, but we felt this was the best way to help them and protect our asset.  

Now lets say you find a deal where the #s make sense... you still want to make sure you're protected, right?

Portland has many laws in place that protect tenants.  

Their loss I guess and they'll suffer for it when the new builds dry up soon.

I think I'm decently protected, but wondering what others are doing. 

I have a strict cancellation policy that would of protected me, but their new policy overrides that.
