Hello everyone,Haven't posted much in a while, but was thinking about the ups and downs I've personally experienced in REI and how I stayed motivated when financial freedom seemed so far away in the beginning.I remember my first BRRRR...I spent every dollar in the bank (I was also working a 1099 job to cover personal bills after getting laid off from a W2 job).

The old gravity furnaces on the other hand, I don't hate (except fo the asbestos tape around the duct work and it's not usually a problem if you leave it alone)-- They are very inefficient (60%) but there is nothing at all to break, they work even in a power outage, and they put out serious heat.
