I have created a Google Chrome extension that boosts your property browsing experience, by offering filtering abilities on displayed properties (if you don't know what a google chrome extension is, its an app that runs on your browser instead of on your smartphone).I have big plans for this mini app, and I need your help in validating I am in the correct direction.

People who rent vacation homes aren't going to start using the hotels and motels, they'll find vacation homes in other locations. 

(Well, it would be once the 6-plexes are fully rented.)Also consider what you have to maintain for each property:Office: 1 Roof6-plexes: 2 RoofsOffice: 4 HVAC units6-plexes: 12 furnaces + 12 AC window unitsOffice: 2 kitchenettes (Fridge, sink)6-plexes: 12 full kitchens (Above, plus range/oven, vent/hood, dishwasher, etc.)Office: 4 bathrooms6-plexes: 12 bathroomsA couple more confounding factors: The office building is built in 2005 and located in a suburb of a major metropolitan area currently experiencing substantial growth.

Would you care to give any advice on investing in the area (strategy, locating deals, financing, areas to avoid) 

Without knowing a remote location well or having a quality trusted team in place, I would be very hesitant to pull the trigger on a deal like this without having ALL of my facts straight and independently verified by multiple sources.Not trying to talk you out of it.  

The developers need both economies of scale and top-end rents to make the numbers work.Post some more details, location and your financial breakdown, and the community will help you walk through whether this is actually a viable plan. 

Since it is 2 Duplexes located on 2 different streets I would want to know the numbers for each individually.  

I think the prospects of building smaller units 2-4 in prime locations are not feasible but I think there are pockets in the outer suburbs where land values are cheaper where it may work. 

She has no car so she really likes the location right next to work.

This week, 2 months later,  the PM sent another maintenance person out and found 2 issues:1. water leaking from the ice box water line.2. hole in bathtub floor that wasn't there in August 2017.Along with that, they provided an estimate for the extensive water damage due to these 2 issues.
