its been about a good 7 months trying to learn and find dealsIt feels like I am not moving forward at all.. no deals no nothing but informationQuite a few of the investors I've met are selling a membership or will not give out much information unless one buys their CD package or otherwise... costing around 1000 dollars and up..Anyway, if I had the money to do that I might not be so frustrated.. maybe.. 

That's a frustrating one, but most people would chalk that one up as something that happens all of the time without clear pre-set resolution.

even a highly experienced contractor would be guessing ...you have to plan for worst case and that would be shoddy design and or construction ...this is usually the tip of the iceberg ...making everything in the house suspect... know when to say when ...if you are not good with power tools it's a walk... don't ruin your free time with frustration,  I'd buy new or one with potential with 203k money can make like new.

I had one experience where I hired a local property management company because I was frustrated with the tenants in my other units knowing that I was the landlord and I was living right next door.

Well, he was a no call/no show.Feeling frustrated and defeated, I call my GC buddy back and ask him to finish it.  

If you're using hard money, your hard money lender will get a little frustrated.  

It is worth the frustration, as it works both ways.

Its frustrating as heck sometimes, but I make extra money.  

Lisa, While this is a frustrating experience, I agree with the many prior to me that talk about not bringing this up with the tenant at all, and paying this bill.
