as ways to try to get them talking.It could be that he wants to pack it full of people or a grow op, but it could also be that he wants one bedroom to live in, one for a home office, and one for a guest room or exercise room storage or whatnot.  

These can include flooring (replace carpets), freshly painted walls, check that windows are in good working order.

Our next move is renting the space out for storage purposes.

He rents most of the land out to a local pallet business who uses the lot for extra pallet storage.  

Next year I'm going to get rid of my apartment, put all my stuff in storage, and live utilizing short term rentals a la airbnb and not have a "primary residence" I was looking at getting an umbrella policy and my insurance provider said I had to have a renters insurance policy if I don't have a homeowners insurance policy for my primary residence. 

Any advice on the self storage properties?

Our investment group has been approached about acquiring 4 storage unit facilities. 3 in Carlsbad, NM and 1 in Eunice, NM. 

I just bought a 5 plex with a shared laundry and storage room.
