While we're on the subject, I can think of a few alternate outcomes that might occur, might as well explore them, basic as they might seem 1. lets say we've got that same situation, somebody owes close to the full amount on a mortgage on a 300k house. let's say they owe 275k still.

I live in a college town so quite a few landlords esp prop mgt companies will rent a unit almost a year in advance requiring the deposit at signing and first and last months rent before the keys change hands.

My town even has a $25.00 permit for installing a new torilet and if I was afraid that I later on it would break and cut someones *** because of how I installed it, I would get that permit and hire a license plumber to install it.
