Too easy to get bumped/  Inventory loos and no leverage involved. 

Other financing can be structured without involving the seller having to carry.

I think he has stated before that them not accurately portraying the reality of it is why he decided not to continue with the project.I know another individual who was on a flipping show, and there were a lot of things in that episode that were not a reflection of reality as I knew those involved, and I knew the subject property.

If you are interested in a carrer change and become more involved in RE, how about a construction management option at CBRE, Habitat Company, or other real estate managment firms? 

So, I've now got a commercial appraiser involved, that I've used before when I owned a lot that the city tried to take by condemnation.
