An Irish couple in their 60s investing just to take nice vacations and earn an extra $3K/mo.Point is, the 50-100 goal is certainly achievable from where you're starting, but you'll need to be aggressive depending on your timeline to reach that many units if you go one by one.I highly suggest one by one instead of buying an existing portfolio unless you can really learn all about the portfolio and avoid overpaying for it.

If you're ok with that, then no rezoning required, but I interpreted your comment to suggest you want a subdivision as in a neighborhood.
