I know most wont do that but rental income to me is not going to move the needle when your main income is real estate fee's and building homes etc hard to get excited about 200 a month :) 

I have a tenant who has moved out and  i now have a judgement against. 

It also is helpful to have a California LLC in case you ever sell that property and move into another state so that you do not need to form a new LLC altogether with new operating agreement, just re-register in the new state as a new foreign LLC.

We took a leap of faith and moved where we knew no one.

I, as the new homeowner, am actually moving into this home as my primary residence.

I haven’t done a deal yet so I was thinking that if I did a fix and flip first it would get my feet wet and I would get some experience and then I can move onto a BRRRR or becoming a landlord.  

No aspirations to continue to build and move in syndications, just plain old buy n holds in class B neighborhoods.

Additionally, you could also consider charging a higher security deposit in the case that you have to do any extensive cleaning of the property following their move-out. 

Would I have to move the money into my original LLC checking account at some point?

I know many Branson shows have foreigners that move to the area for xxxxxxx amount of time to do a show.
