Our other investments are in American based independent Oil companies that either do re-works or drill new wells.

Yeah, you have to pay them a fee but that is always true re someone with experience and who knows the ropes. 

At the worst, they may re-underwrite the deal because of the new credit revelations and depending on your numbers, turn it down for debt ratio concerns.I wish you the best.Stephanie

I'm a brand new RE investor (haven't even done my first deal yet!)

If it was, we would be re-negotiating with the seller for a lower price which he may or may not accept.

I was tentatively hired, though no official paperwork, to help this RE Investing company to advise, improve, and streamline all of their Marketing efforts to acquire, buy, and sell properties.

Hopefully, there might be great demand for that location and you re thinking long term.
