Hi, I am with the Worcester Property Owners Association in central Massachusetts and we are seeking a few outstanding speakers to educate our group.  

I am trying to get educated as much as I can and working to connect with locals on Meet up.So glad I stumbled upon BP while finding REI books on Kindle.  

I really enjoy being here on BiggerPockets.com, being that with out this site I wouldn't be able to get such a good education in the Real estate industry.my plea to you the reader, please share with me where you lost money while buying Tax Liens/Deeds and if possible to detail the most possible what you would have done differently now after your experience ?

If you want to be an active real estate investor and roll up your sleeves to acquire properties and rehab properties then that's great.On the other hand, if you enjoy investing passively with turnkey rental properties and that will help you fulfill your goals then stick with that.A big factor here is TIME.  

Even if just for your own education so you feel really comfortable with your decision - it doesn't hurt to ask around.  

Just know that if they don't plan on making your a educational real estate website that is local optimized and mobile friendly then don't bother. 

The earning potential is glorious and for now, I'd rather have the influx of folks versus a tenant I'm not educated enough to service.

Again another ridiculous, odd request that I quickly am able to fulfill and send back to them.  

@Adam Abdullah  Maybe you approach it differently... with a business plan. and you ask your dad to be your partner in a new business your creating and the business happens to be RE... instead of the thought of him just investing in RE like he invests in stocks.Also you might want to get your RE license so you can prove to him you have a modicum of education regarding real estate..

My goal is to help my parents with retirement, help loved ones through educational costs, and work towards alleviating my own debt.
