I was wondering if others are charging "additional rent" ie having the tenant pay a portion of taxes and insurance beyond his rent payment.

Also, an additional 10% early distribution penalty applies if you are under age 59 1/2 unless you meet the age 55 exception. 

I am all about efficiency and time blocking, and this "running around" was detrimental to my productivity.

Since that market is in flux (with a good chance of a decent decline), I'm taking some time to explore other markets in addition to Vancouver.

In addition, spoke to all parties involved to try and recall the payment.

And if you plan on using a real estate agent to rent out the unit in the future, then that is an additional cost to factor in. 

But, the inspectors kept coming up with additional code requirements that they normally don't require.

Then rent out 100% of the 4plex and use that additional cash flow to offset the new property.
