Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in and remind everyone that the time to file your protests (here in TX) is May 15th this year instead of May 30th, cutting your time to file a protest by two weeks.If you haven't protested your valuation before, I highly recommend getting someone to do it for you on a contingency.Here's a pretty good (albeit corny) overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?

That can make the taxes go up.If they raise the valuation higher than the price you paid you will need to protest the valuation.
