I did not have much luck with traditional banks even though my partner is a GC and has done multiple additions and garages.

We’ve talked to a couple Saskatoon realtors and are active on their listings, but are still unsure if we are making the right choice. 

Our traditional tenants handle small things like a light bulb out or running toilet but it's a something we handle for our PadSplit homes.

Analyze each city's rental demand, property prices, and your personal goals to make the best choice.

The other is a non-traditional offering (higher risk and ideally higher return that even with some large issues seems likely to hit the high returns and is very frank about the problems they have encountered).  

They're typically never my first choice these days, unless it's a specific deal type. 

Charlotte is tough for buy and hold using the traditional rent model, but we are now a PadSplit community!
