Here I am at 40+, My wife told me to bite the bullet and go back to school because you'll be miserable to live with going to work and not being happy.

Probability simply says you will get a few people that are interested in selling because simply a lot of people are miserable Not happy with their lives,  everyone needs money...So the leads you get are not because of filtering but just probability.Sorry to crush the dreams of list lovers.

I am currently in the process of getting my real estate license and I’ve noticed that in real estate, you either become very successful, or fail miserably.

@Kimberly Kesterke  those that throw around the slum lord term are usually 9- 5ers that have done nothing with there life but sit in a cubicle miserable .

Safe to say growing up I told myself I would never live that way but instead I would build wealth and not have to work a miserable job for the next 40 years or longer of my life and I feel extremely passionately about this.

No point in making this event more miserable for anyone than it needs to be. 

This sounds miserable.  

It's also worth noting that I really want to move as soon as possible due to a pretty miserable current living environment.Super long doc but wondering if someone wouldn't mind skimming it?

Maybe fifteen grand to the right guy with the right connection, and he'd be in a wheelchair with ruined kidneys for the rest of his miserable life.

Make a hundred calls, have 99 fail miserably, but I guarantee you'll be left with one slam dunk lead and the experience to keep it going!
